PLEASE GO TO: runforyourheart.org TO REGISTER for our 8th annual Run for Your Heart Community Races.
Volunteers are the heart and “sole” of Run for Your Heart. Whether you like to be behind the scenes or at the center of the action, we have a place for you! Individuals, corporate and community service groups are encouraged to take part.
Annually 300 women attend to learn about the unique health care needs of women. Contact hours are available for those that register for that option.
Presenters and topics for 2015 are:
Dr. Asim Yunus, The Beat Goes On: Sudden Cardiac Arrest in Women
Tami West Ph.D., Chocolate, Flowers & Klonopin
Rebecca Schlaff Ph.D., "Exercise is Medicine": Is a Prescription Enough?
Dr. Steve Vance, Team Crisis Management for Women on Earth—Do Mars and Venus Apply?
Kelly Swanson, A Happier - and Healthier - Ever After
One hour is all it takes to learn the skills to save a life. You will learn CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). We do not provide certification cards for this free class.
